Over fifty members and supporters of Altered Images in Bromsgrove will be doing a 10K run or a 20 mile bike ride to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity which supports our injured and wounded service men and women.Starting from Wychbold the run follows a scenic but challenging country lane route before runners face the tough climb up Timberhonger Hill before easing through Sanders Park and finishing back at Altered Images on Worcester Rd.
M’n’T Mini-Coaches have very kindly offered to donate all their transportation fee for delivering the 50 runners up to the start which is a wonderful gesture.
The club realises that not everyone wants to run so this year’s event features a 20-mile bike ride also on Saturday 10th April starting from Altered Images then going through Timberhonger Wychbold Droitwich Hanbury and then back into Bromsgrove finishing at the Worcester Road health club.
By getting involved in Help for Heroes Altered Images members really are making a worthwhile contribution. All the money raised will be spent by Help for Heroes to help transform the lives of wounded service personnel.
If you’d like to join the run or do the cycle ride everyone is welcome just contact the club for details. You can also make a donation directly to the Help for Heroes charity or you can sponsor Lara or Paul to do the run by popping into the club or make a contribution online.
