Local pub, The Queen’s Head Inn, has come up with the perfect recipe for keeping the whole family happy this summer. The canal-side venue, at Stoke Pound, has invested in a major refurbishment of its children’s play area and the make-over is already proving a big hit with local kids.
Parents and carers can now enjoy a relaxing drink or meal in the waterside garden, safe in the knowledge that their children are having a great time too, making new friends and enjoying a wide range of quality play equipment. Designed to appeal across a wide age range the play area now includes a wooden climbing frame with slide, four pendulum tyres, a sandpit and a wendy house. The enclosed play area sits within the main garden, so parents can keep an eye on their children.
