Jo's sponsored walk in aid of St Basil's

Jo Slade of Every Eventuality ~ Marketing & Event Management is doing a sponsored walk  Saturday 5th June in aid of St Basil's. 

Late last year she became involved in the North Worcestershire Fundraising Team for St Basil's, a charity which works with young people aged 16 to 21 in danger of becoming homeless. For a number of years St Basil's has successfully helped hundreds of young people in Birmingham, and is now extending there reach to cover the North Worcestershire area. In particular is the development of a foyer in Bromsgrove which will provide accommodation for those in need. www.stbasils.org.uk

St Basil's doesn't believe in handouts, but in supporting young people to become self sufficient. Tenants at the foyers pay rent and make a commitment to work or study.

Jo very much believes in the work of St Basil's, and for this reason has entered a team into the annual walk, which this year is a 14 mile circular walk from Chipping Camden in the Cotswolds.
