People who have become engaged over recent months are asked to get in touch. Thirty-five lucky couples will then be invited to a special complimentary wedding reception event, to be held at The Queen’s Head Inn, on March 6.
From the welcome drinks to the cutting of the cake, the couples will enjoy the lavish hospitality bestowed on real wedding parties who hold their special day at the venue. A full wedding breakfast will be served, allowing guests to sample the cuisine of head chef, Chris Long. The party will continue well into the evening with a disco.
It is hoped that the relaxed celebratory atmosphere will encourage the couples to share the excitement of their impending marriage with other couples. Exchanging wedding ideas and helpful hints, guests should find they make some new friends along the way.
The Queen’s Head Inn, with its idyllic setting adjacent to the Birmingham and Worcester canal, began hosting wedding receptions in 2009 – following a complete refurbishment of the interior of the venue.
“Many venues hold a traditional wedding fair, to tell couples what they offer” says Gianni D’Aniello, proprietor of The Queen’s Head Inn. “We wanted to do something different and provide an opportunity to truly experience, first hand, what a reception at The Queen’s Head would be like.”
