Mark and his team have done two major projects for us - our kitchen/garden and more recently a loft extension. Both times we encountered some unforeseen structural problems which made us particularly glad we'd chosen such a professional and knowledgable company. We were really grateful to Mark for his efforts in keeping the extra costs down as much as possible. As others have mentioned, Mark says up front that they won't be the cheapest quote, but they represent real value for money because of the quality of their work. Unlike some other building work I've seen, the workmanship is excellent with real attention to detail and design. One Stop is also what you get - Mark takes care of everything. We were very comfortable having the guys in the house for so long - they were friendly, polite, efficient and cleaned up every day! In Schools we need very flexible small and medium contractors who can cope with jobs involving multiple disciplines and able to fit our work in when schools are shut. This work can range from replacing a door to partitioning spaces involving light construction, electrical, water services and decorating.
We have found ‘The One Stop Loft Shop’ very helpful in delivering a well-rounded and unique service helping us to deliver ‘best value’ options in maintaining and developing our premises.

We were recommended, by a friend to try ‘One Stop’ as we wanted to make some home improvements. They designed and built a loft conversion as a master bedroom with en-suit, plus a new roof for the house. They also replaced an old and leaking hot water/central heating system with a new boiler and radiators. Built cupboards, fitted wardrobes and also decorated.
Mark and his team are all very professional, and work to very high standards, being honest, friendly and tidy workman. We really missed them all when the work was done.

I would have to rate One Stop Building as the most professional company I have ever had the pleasure in dealing with. Honest, reliable people from the beginning of the project until the very end. They made us feel at ease from the very first moment we met. We had our loft conversion done in 2010 and it has given a new lease of life to our house.

We have used One Stop on several occasions, from building a large alcove cupboard, completely re-fitting our bathroom, replacing our kitchen ceiling and the conversion of our garage into an office. They are- by their own admission- not the cheapest builders around, however I would not use anyone else as they're totally honest, reliable, tidy and highly professional. I have heard too many bad builder stories from other people about unfinished jobs, rude/loud workers and bad workmanship so it is unthinkable that we would go anywhere else but to Mark and his team.
I feel 100% comfortable leaving them in the house if I have to go out, our kitchen was clean and useable every night despite having the ceiling removed, then re-plastered and finally re-painted and they even took our dog to the park on their lunch break!

We were recommended to One Stop by a friend for a Loft Conversation with en-suite and although they were a little bit more expensive then over quotes we got, we had a good feeling they would do a better job, and we was'nt disapointed and so glad we took them on.
From ther start to the finish, everyone invovled was very friendly and even missed some of them when the job was finished. Any changes we wanted to make was not a problem and we were always kept informed of any price increase of the extra work we requested. The final finish is of top quality and workmanship.
We have since recommended them to our friends and they too have been very happy with the work carried out.

I am very pleased with both the quality of your team's workmanship and their totally professional conduct whilst on site. When you originally started building the major extension next door we were not looking forward to the experience! Can thoroughly recommend One Stop Builders. I used them for some structural work and the installation of a new kitchen. They took care of every detail from start to finish and did an excellent job.
