I started coming to JusB when I was about 9. I am 16 now and it has helped me greatly in my music career and if I ever become successful I know I owe huge responsibilty to Jusb.
Jus b was really fun and more entertaining than other clubs that I have been to.I like when we went canoeing and I won a bronze medal which was very unexpected. I also loved the residential trip to Hind leap warren in Sussex it was fun but their was a lot of dirty clothes. I loved making music and also making a video for it, it was also a great learning experience.^_^Love from Rachael Hibbert
Hello my name is Chantal and i have been attending Jusb for about a month now. As i am not in full time education and recently lost my job, and still being within the youthful age, this place has given me somewhere to go to socialize and work on my music to start off my career in music. The studio is basic but it works perfectly. Everyone supports each other during recording sessions, giving tips and examples to make their work better. The music staff are fab, we can be ourselves and have a laugh, and the same with the rest of the staff. They are all down to earth. I have gotten alot of self confidence whilst attending Jusb. It gives us youths somewhere to go and hang with our friends instead of out in the streets, plus we are able to gain qualifications whilst attending Jusb. Which i think is so good especially for unpreviliged teenagers who do not do well in school, but here they are able to learn and enjoy it, recieving a qualification for it. I would be sad if Jusb closed down, because it gives me a place to express myself with my music and get my career started. If this was gone i dunno what i'd do.
A couple of years ago I used to hang around in a big group, like other young people do. We used to hang about on the streets of Bromley with nothing to do and we got into a lot of trouble. Then Jerry, one of the youth workers, came up to us and told us about JusB. We then attended JusB to see whether it was good for us, and then started to come along every week. There are lots of things to do here, like recording music and using the ICT suite. It is also a safe place to hang around and there are lots of people to talk to. I have now been coming to JusB for 2 years and it is a great environment, the people here are so friendly and are always here for you when you need to talk to someone. I now go to college and have found a work placement here at JusB and this is good because I’m learning things about young people that I didn’t know before. The best thing about JusB is that everyone is friends.Lacey
