La Racasse is perfect - nothing more that I could say to describe it.
I have been going to La Rascasse for years, love the restaurant, great food and service. The bar plays great music with a really friendly atomospher, the outside bar is great in the summer and hot in the winter. Give it a try!
Thanks to Catherine and her team, for a wonderfull night helping me celebrate a big birthday, everyone had a great evening.
Consistently good food and service. Excellent for special occasions or a relaxed mid-week lunch for 2!
WOW!! Food and service exceptional as always!
Rascasse Restaurant - excellent meal and service as always
Lovely food, best I ever had. I definitely will come back.
A favourite local restaurant, especially on a Sunday. Our children love the roasts. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. We (Paul and Lynda from Baccarat hair salon) love taking friends there. The service is fantastic-as good (nearly!) as ours.
I come to rascasse very often. The food is out of this planet. Best restaurant in South East London. Lovely service. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I love Rascasse, great atmosphere and the food is amasing especially the seafood and steaks. A place that caters for all. A must for Valentines.
Cher Compatriote! Superlatives are in order! Tapenade, croutons, fillet and gibier, impeccables. La tatin au chevre seule suffirait a nous faire revenir. Au plaisir.
Have booked my table for valentine's and am taking my boyfriend. The only place to go for a romantic dinner and has always served fab food. I love this place.
Wonderful French cuisine without the expense of a Eurostar ticket!
We are regulars at Rascasse and we are never dissapointed! The food will give any London Top restaurant a run for its money and not for half as much, would definately give this restaurant a go!
Solid 8/10 dining experience.perfect for romantic meal or special occasion that won't break the bank.varied menu but not overly elaborate nor pretentious dining fayre.attentive staff, scrumptious desserts.popular with all i know who've eaten there.
Always a worry when you take friends to somewhere unknown but La Racasse lived up to its reveiws. The food was excellent, we all had different fish dishes and all were cooked superbly. The deserts were sublime and the 15 minute wait (shown on menu) for the specials was worth it. It's not silly money and we will definitely be back! A genuine find.
La Rascasse is a really nice restaurant. Went for a meal a few weeks ago and it was lovely - good service and a welcoming atmosphere. I'd recommend La Racasse for an enjoyable evening out - it's not too expensive either.
My boyfriend and I went to La Rascasse for dinner as it was our anniversary and I have to say I was impressed. The food was great but the relaxed bar was where we really had a nice time. The atmosphere was lovely and we were able to sit and have a chat over a couple of bottles of really good wine. Thatâs the splendid thing about La Rascasse â thereâs such a good wine menu and the staff know what to recommend.
First visit. We found the food, wine and staff were all first class. The table had been booked earlier that day and although it was a Thursday I reckon we were lucky. I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment. The menu is wide and varied and covers all tastes. One of our party was a veggie and really enjoyed her meal. The front of house staff were very helpful and quick. Nothing was too much trouble. The food arrived hot and well presented. It was tasty including the sides which I find at times can let down an otherwise good meal. We opted to try the Argentinian Malbec , which was excellent and reasonably priced. The puddings are to die for! The decor was pleasent and if I could find a point to grumble about it was the "busy cross roads" just outside the kitchen and on the route to the toilets. No accidents on my night but I suspect there have been a few. No hesitation in giving 5 stars. We will be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed my Birthday Dinner Surprise at La Rascasse. Will defo be going back. First rate atmosphere, cuisine and polite, charming staff. The Fillet steak was melt in the mouth. Very much recommended.
First visit to La Rascasse, enjoyed a lovely meal of goats cheese tart and calamari, followed by the cod and sea bass. Good portion sizes and very good value for money. Service was friendly, although venue is small so some waiters need to take a little more care when passing tables to avoid brushing past diners. That said I would definitely recommend and certainly plan to visit again.
La Rascasse, Beckenham. It was quiet on Monday evening, as there were only a few tables occupied, but we were made to feel welcome. The decor is traditional in dark colours, and our table was in the window (not a great view of the road outside, but better when it got dark!). Service was at the right speed, neither too fast nor slow, and we found that the fixed price menu gave us a good choice. The food was very good, and we appreciated the excellent choice of wines. It was good value for money.
great food and very friendly service, will visit again
La Rascasse, Beckenham - a great venue for a romantic date or for a special occasion. Delicious food, great venue and service. Recommended.
La Rascasse is always a winning choice for me, the service is friendly and efficient, the food delicious and wine list is varied and affordable. Great neighbourhood restaurant, only down side is the crowd of smokers from the bar lingering outside the door as you leave..
