What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a registered primary healthcare profession that specialises in examination, diagnosis (the cause of your symptoms), treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions and peripheral neurological problems (such as trapped nerves). It is suitable for adults and children and we treat both at Chislehurst Chiropractic Clinic.
All of our chiropractors treat and help you manage many different problems with your joints, bones and muscles and the effects they have on your nervous system.
The main focus of chiropractic is the diagnosis, prevention, and non-surgical treatment of spine, muscle and joint problems (musculoskeletal disorders). We use chiropractic to help bring relief to people who would otherwise suffer prolonged pain or illness.
The principal treatment is joint adjustment or manipulation. Management also includes rehabilitative exercises, patient education and lifestyle modification and the use of physical therapies, lumbar cushions and other supports. There is also an emphasis on health promotion and early return to activities for injured patients.
Chiropractic does not involve the use of any drugs or surgery and is able to treat both acute (sudden onset) and chronic (long-term/ongoing) conditions.

*Dr Gould has a particular interest in sports injuries and how chiropractic can help his patients in activities such as golf, rugby, tennis, football, martial arts and many other sports. He also regularly offers his chiropractic expertise to his local karate club and helped the English Go-Ju Ryu squad at their karate world championships.

All the staff are lovely people and I really look forward to my treatment each time I come.
The whole staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The treatment I have had is excellent , Jason is very caring and will always encourage me to look at my overall health.
