This was a great birthday present and my daughter really enjoyed it too. Lisa's absolutely lovely and really knows her stuff. We had over 3 delightful hours of making chocolate and were allowed to taste them as we went along, which I surely did! 'Absolutely amazing' said my daughter who learnt such a lot and even went home to make some of her own. We would certainly recommend The Chocolate Tart to any chocolate lover or those new to the art. Thank you Lisa we really enjoyed our afternoon.

Thank you so much Lisa for a really wonderful morning! My mother and I attended a course just a few days ago and each left with 7 beautiful boxes of chocolates that we had made - I am so proud of myself! The course was both professional with lots of great tips as well as fun. I am no longer scared of tempering chocolate as you made it seem so easy and uncomplicated. Your attention to detail was so impressive and I loved the way that you made us all focus on our wrapping and presentation too. I really feel that I learnt a new skill - never again will I be buying chocolates to give friends (unless they are yours of course!)

Everything was beyond our expectations. Unbelievable the amount of good quality chocolate all beautifully packaged was amazing.
A lovely treat which we will do again soon. Thank you.

My sister & I attended a 3 hour course on chocolate making and it was brilliant. We could eat as much as we wanted, were offered wine or soft drinks too. We produced gorgeous looking chocolates and everyone at home thoroughly enjoyed them too!! This is a must for all chocolate lovers, totally recommended. Lisa was a very attentive teacher and answered all of our questions - absolutely brilliant experience. I feel confident enough now to make the favours for my neice's wedding in September.

I was assured that I would take away with me, after my evening at The Chocolate Tart, a lot of chocolate that I had handmade myself.. which I struggled to believe as I am not great in the kitchen. I could not have been proved more wrong. The workshop was excellent and Lisa a true star. I moulded, filled, flavoured, shaped and decorated all sorts of types and styles of chocolates (you even get to personalise the boxes you take them away in!) Lisa was amazing - great fun, full of knowledge and friendly advice and tips throughout the process. I would definitely recommend The Chocolate Tart to anybody and as a bonus - the chocolates are delicious.

I was promised prior to visiting The Chocolate Tart that I would leave with chocolates I had hand made myself.. which I struggled to believe as I am not great in the kitchen. The workshop when I arrived was fantastic and Lisa was a true star. I moulded, filled, flavoured, shaped and decorated my many styles of chocolates and had a lot of fun doing so. Lisa was full of great advice, knowledgeable, friendly and very approachable. You get take home all of the many chocolates you have made yourself and they are delicious! I would definitely recommend it for any event.

The Chocolate Tart is just brilliant!! My friend and I had a fabulous Saturday morning with Lisa and learned so much. CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP!! 3 and a half hours of all the chocolate you can eat, all the wine you can drink and a kilo of handmade chocolates to take home!! We started with hand rolled truffles, then dipped marzipan, next we chose moulds and decided what fondant flavours we wanted for our chocolate fondants (gillian made rose and geranium filled hearts, matt made lemon and apple pie filled pharoahs and i made sicilian lemon and raspberry filled domes) and finally we made knackelies (basically mini chocolate pizzas; tiny chocolate bases with yummy toppings like candied violets, hazelnuts and fudge pieces). mmmmmmmm!!! Then we packaged up all our little goodies, finished our glasses and trundled home, sugared up and happy!

What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon!

We were greeted with a glass of wine and Lisa and her team taught us how to make truffles, chocolates with filled centres, Easter eggs and various other treats. The atmosphere was very relaxed, we could eat as much delicious leftover chocolate as we wanted and then got to take our creations home with us.

I just don't have the words to describe what it feels like to hold a pool of liquid chocolate in your hands - one hand dips in and out of a bowl of molten chocolate, the other hand cupped full of silken chocolatey warmth while the other hand rolls cream truffles from your very palm .... ah, hmmm, yes, three hands would have been very useful ...

It is a bit of a juggling act getting to know your chocolate, but by the end of the evening we all went home with an fantastic array of beautiful chocolates gift wrapped, gift boxed and be-ribboned. What an experience!
