I was looking for a competent plumber who was OFTEC accredited to work on an oil fired boiler as I was unhappy with previous work from other firms. Jim Standen diagnosed the problems and had the requisite spares in the van to remedy the these. He then carried-out all the fuel delivery pressure checks and flue output checks for carbon monoxide levels and set the mixture burn correctly.

All in all, a very professional, courteous and methodical approach. As an engineer myself (albeit in a different field) I was able to follow the logic in what Jim explained and I would have no hesitation in recommending him in future to other customers.

We had a leaking toilet system that came through our living room ceiling, Jim Standen arranged for one of his fitters Kevin to come round and promptly he fixed it for us. Not only was the service quick and efficient Kevin was polite and clean cut, (he removed his work boots without being asked), but the price was very reasonable and considered excellent value for money. The invoice was sent in the post with a stamped addressed envelope the following week. Wouldn't consider using anyone else now and would whole heartedly reccomend this company to everybody!
