I remember as a kid there was a distinction to be made between being a skateboarder and an inline skater. I chose the former but kept this quiet as I strolled into Get Inline, Bristol's only inline and ice skate shop.

Sometimes you get a business where they're sort of interested in what they do and sometimes you find one where they push it and push it and push it. Not just satisfied with selling ice and inline hockey gear the staff here have taken to teaching and coaching in local schools. They teach ice hockey at the ice rink, hockey in local schools and colleges and even offer one on once classes. It's the wide range of pads and equipment that really surprised me and is another sign that they really are worth their salt down here. They do have a few skateboards (hurrah!) but it's not their speciality. Pop in and see what is.
