We've had a season ticket at Bristol zoo since the kids could first waddle. It's a great way of introducing the kids to different aspects of animals. As they get older they take an interest in different animals. Its the perfect size for all families as even the youngest can make their way round and there's plenty for all sizes.

The penguins are always a popular stop and getting in amongst the ringtail lemurs is a real experience too. Shows in the summer are great fun and informative.

Food is usually good with plenty of places to picnic if that's what you fancy.

The playground provides an opportunity for a burst of activity for your own chimps.

We've always felt the season ticket offered value for money, especially as we could use it for free entry for zoos in other parts of the country. The season ticket encourages you to use it more often and as a Sunday stroll in the park, nothing can beat it.

I recommend the Christmas carol concert too. Kids of all ages love it.
