Bristol Hippodrome - Bristol theatres Testimonials

I recently went on a Bristol Hippodrome ‘Back Stage Tour’ and it was amazing! The guide who led the tour, Martin was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable it added to the experience. He told us amazing facts that I never knew about the beautiful building even though I have visited the place regularly for the past four decades! The history of the building is told as well as anecdotes about the stars that have performed there over the years. We were also treated to some ghostly stories of unexplained happenings in the building! It was a fantastic and definitely worth every penny. I would recommend this tour to all (although there may be access issues for some if unable to climb stairs). I think it would be a very good thing for a group of friends to do together. We were there as part of our team day from work. I will never visit the Hippodrome again without remembering the insights I now have, thanks to Martin who certainly entertained us in a more intimate way than is usual when being part of an audience at this venue. He certainly got a standing ovation from our group!
