Stan’s style owes much to his friend and mentor, the legendary Freddie King, who inspired Stan's delicate vibrato and sustain, and above all else his emotive blues tone. Aside from a stint with Canned Heat (the only UK guitarist to ever play with them) and Savoy Brown, Stan continues to tour Chickenshack in Europe and occasionally in the UK.
