Having made a huge decision to change my career at the age of 45, I embarked on a Creative Communication course at Hove College which turned out to be of the best decisions I ever made. I immensely enjoyed my intensive 6 month course in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising and Digital Design and when it was time to leave I felt very ready to pin down that marketing role, endowed with a very relevant skill-set....
This display explores the British artist Keith Vaughan’s final 15 years of creativity, focusing on his work in gouache, a technique he described as ‘a volatile medium’. The gouaches are displayed together with his drawings, photographs and extracts from his diaries.
