The Pottery House Café in Brighton and Hove is a paint-your-own pottery café offering a relaxing café environment where children and adults alike can enjoy painting on ceramics. It is a great place to bring your children to have fun while being creative and we have a large range of really cool stuff for kids to paint.

Finding activities for the children to do can be difficult at the best of times.We offer a great way for the kids to send a couple of hours creatively.

Firstly they choose the pottery piece they wish to decorate from our large selection. They will then draw the design and then begin to apply the paint and we have a large selection of paints to choose from. Once all the paint layers are applied the piece is then ready for glazing. After this it is then ready to be fired in our kiln. The item will be ready for you to pick up within seven days.

Members of staff will be on hand to advise at every stage and help you keep an eye on the children if you need them to.

Children's Parties
Looking for something different for your children's parties? Then bring your children and their friends to the Pottery House café.
We offer special packages for groups of 10 or more and can arrange catering if required ot you can bring in your own catering or even a take-away if you wish. Choose from a large range of pieces or let each child paint the same theme. Our studio provides the pottery and fun, you provide the kids and cake!
