Offering a comprehensive lunch and dining with a wide range of Indian foods. There are numerous combinations of foods that are developed for our individual customers palates - an entire world of exciting flavours, grains, fish, vegetables and meats are used.

Since taking over in December 1999, Shykul and his brother Shane have truly transformed "The Curry Mahal" into the The Jewel Of Hove. Following their recent extension and refurbishment the restaurant has been described as a palatial place to dine.

All food is prepared fresh daily on the premises, using only the finest ingredients by the brothers master chef Abdul and Shykul (himself a master chef). Shykul learnt his cooking skills from his father, one of Brighton's first Indian Restaurant Chefs and his customer care skills from working as cabin crew with the world's favourite airline.

Being the leading Indian Restaurant in the city, The Curry Mahal has full disabled facilities, separate party rooms and a well stocked wine and beer store.

We have full disabled facilities and we can cater for large parties. We are dedicated to satisfy our consumers who want to enjoy high-quality meals at home but don't have the time to cook. We offer takeout meals that diners can eat at their own dining-room tables. The bar is populated from an array of wines, beers and liqueurs from around the globe.

HYDRABADI CHICKEN - Marinated in our own special blend of freshly prepared spices and cooked in a cream & youghurt sauce together with fresh mango - A delightful mild curry
MURGH SYLHETY - Chicken breast, gently spiced, served medium or hot together with green peppers & onions in a soya sauce, an exotic experience
MURGH SUNAM - A mild creamy dish cooked in Malibu
GOAN CHICKEN - Chicken cooked with garlic and chillies in a fairly hot yoghurt sauce and garnished with fresh ginger
MURGH BHAZZAN - Cooked with finely chopped chicken breast, with onions, garlic, green peppers in a unique medium cream sauce
KOMLAPURIYA CHICKEN OR LAMB - A mild to medium gastronomic delight with the flavour of Grande Marnier and Manderins
CHINGREE BHAZZAN - A medium hot dishes of shredded prawns, prepared with pimento, garlic tomatoes and coriander... matchless
LAMB SATKORA - A truly fine dish originating from Sylhet, cooked with tender slices of lamb, satkora, tomatoes, onions, garlic and garnished with fresh chillies and coriander to create a fairly hot dish
CHATGA PRAWNS - A truly special dish of magneficient king prawns, marinated in a mixture of spices & cooked in a clay oven. Curried in a medium hot sauce with onions, green peppers, tomatoes & coriander
