Swedish Massage

The therapist generally uses massage oil to facilitate making long, smooth strokes over the body. Swedish massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being.

Hot Stone Therapy Massage

Hot Stone Massage makes you feel deeply relaxed, allowing you to let go of all the stress that is held within your body. It involves the application of water-heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of comfort and warmth. The direct heat relaxes muscles, allowing deeper manipulation than regular massage.

Pregnancy Massage

Is a gentle, relaxing massage that relieves muscle tension and reduces swelling. It can help with problem areas such aching hips, backache and discomfort due to fluid retention. It can also help with the emotional preparation when giving birth. Dawn has had specific training in pregnancy massage so you know that you and baby are in safe hands.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage induces a state of calm, peace and tranquility and is wonderful for muscle tension and stress. It also helps with hair loss, skin problems, re-energises the body, aids mental alertness and concentration, improves blood circulation to the brain and stimulates the lymphatic system, boosting the immune system to help fend off disease and stress-related disorders.

Our massage therapists will employ a number of techniques techniques to release muscle tension, reduce inflammation, ease the pain and assist the body in repairing damaged tissues

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapy where the therapist uses thumbs and fingers to apply pressure to the client's feet and/or hands. It is based on the ancient Chinese theory that energy is flowing all around our bodies. If the energy can flow freely then we are balanced and healthy. If the energy is obstructed, illness may result. Reflexology rebalances the whole of your being and so can be more effective than working directly on one part of you.

Reiki

Reiki is a technique for stress reduction, relaxation and also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an "life force energy" flows through us. If our "life force energy" is low, then we are mlikely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a non-invasive natural therapy which uses gentle muscle monitoring to access the subconscious and release emotional, physical and nutritional blockages promoting optimal health, happiness and well-being. It relieves pain, stress, depression and releases untapped potential and restores energy.

Facial Treatments

We offer a range of facials for all skin types and conditions. Our professional beauty therapists will analyse your skin condition and advise on which facial treatment is best for your individual needs.

Manicures

A manicure treats each nail for its specific nail type. The cuticles are cared for with oils and creams, the nail shape is perfected and a base coat and colour are applied for the perfect finish.

Pedicures

A therapeutic foot bath and skin-softening pedicure is followed by a relaxing pressure point massage using creams and oils to soothe, refresh and revitalise the feet.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal works by using powerful beams of light to target and penetrate groups of hair follicles in the skin and destroy the follicles ability to produce hair. The laser also shrinks the follicle. There are a variety of different laser treatments available which work on different skin and hair colours. Body areas are treated with lasers between 6 and 12 times to achieve a hair free result which can last for between 1 and 10 years.

Waxing

Our warm wax treatment will ensure that you will be left with naturally smooth, hairless skin for at least 4-6 weeks. With regular treatments the hairs will become finer and hair growth will slow down.

Eye Treatments

Eyelash tinting adds more definition and creates the appearance of longer, thicker lashes. You will leave with gorgeous, darker lashes.

*Please note that we are unable to make your eye lashes lighter than the natural colour. A patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to tinting to ensure no sensitivity to the product exists

Eyebrow Tinting is a great way to define the eyebrows as they frame your eyes. It is the best treatment for concealing grey hairs, enhancing the general appearance of eyes and is particularly beneficial for people with very fair eyebrows who rely on eyebrow pencils for definition.

Eyebrow Shaping can open up the eyes making them look bigger. Our therapist will find the right shape for you. Leaving you with tidy and highly defined eyebrows.

Spray Tanning

Spray Tanning gives you the colour that you want without having to worry about the suns harmful rays causing premature ageing and cancers of the skin. A sunless tan is applied in a matter of minutes and is streak free.

Bridal Make-up

The Bridal Make-up service starts with a trial consultation at the salon for the Bride ahead of the wedding day to discuss the look you want, we will ask several questions during the consultation so that the perfect look is achieved for you using Jane Iredale make-up. We will record the details of the makeup so it can be reproduced accurately on your Wedding Day.

Make-up trials to Bridesmaids and the Bride's Mother - This is ideal if you intend to colour co-ordinate. On Wedding day I will arrive at an agreed time at your home, hotel or venue and stay with you until you leave for the ceremony.
