I needed to have some photos taken for my website recently. I have to confess to being very uncomfortable about having my photo taken on a good day, and photo sessions rarely happen on a good day! However, upon arriving at Jon studio, which is light, bright and airy; I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed immediately. Jon seemed to instinctively know how to make his subject feel at ease. This meant that the whole process of the photo session became fun and enjoyable. The photos have far exceeded my expectations and have made my website look far more professional. Beyond that, with clever lighting and a lot of laughs, the photos even made me look, happy, relaxed and better than any photo has ever made me look! I wish I had booked him for my wedding photos!!! I am happy to recommend Jon to anyone who wants a professional job done with their photos, I will certainly use him again and have recommended him to my friends and family.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Silver Weddings to friends or family. My fiance and I knew Jon would be the right photographer for us the first time we met him – he was very friendly, and gave us over an hour of his time to talk to him, see examples of his work, and talk about his approach. We came away from that first meeting feeling very happy and confident. Our optimism was completely founded – on the day of the wedding Jon was friendly and unobtrusive. There was no bossy organisation or making people pose awkwardly. My parents were incredibly impressed, and several of our guests asked where we had found him! Looking at the photos, it is clear his approach works very well – not only is the quality of the photos extremely high, but he has captured everything we could have wanted him to – still not quite sure how one man managed to be seemingly everywhere at once! We also found his prices very good value – both compared to the hourly rate of other photographers whose work we didn’t like as much, and when you consider the amount of time and attention he spent both before and after the wedding.
