Lyme Regis and Charmouth are holding a weekend of events in conjunction with the Natural History Museum to celebrate geology and fossils.
This year the fossil festival, named Deep Time In Lyme, will run from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th April. The new look event has been awarded a Heritage Lottery Fund grant of £49,400 and will feature a range of events and activities based on Charmouth and Lyme Regis’ unparalleled geology, fossils and role in the birth of the earth sciences
There will be events, workshops, walks and lectures.
This will be a great weekend so come along and learn and enjoy.
