Stephen will come to your home or office base and set up everything from the printer, monitor and scanner to the modem. He will also check that any broadband connection is safe by ensuring adequate firewall and virus software is in place.
TUITION
For anyone in the Bridport area new to computers or nervous about the technology Stephen offers one-to-one tuition. For IT training in Windows, MS Office or Excel, book some sessions and be surfing with the best of them in no time. For those in business Stephen offers a web design service and will arrange hosting, taking all the angst out of launching a site.
MAINTENANCE
Once up and running it is advisable to have routine six-monthly health and housekeeping checks. Computers invariably run faster when clear of old files and always benefit from defragmenting. Again, with a call to X-It all of these hitches are solved with a system check.
CHARGES
The charge for computer support, IT support, training/advice is £30 per hour and there is a £5 travel supplement for visits outside the immediate Bridport area.
