owned and managed by engineers Steve and John Lambert is a traditional engineering foundry business based at Grove Works just outside Bridport on West Road.

Specialist engineering castings in aluminium iron and bronze are made to order. 

Parts and kits for the renowned ‘Plastow’ designed traction engines.

Clients include The Duchy of Cornwall, CG Fry and some recent work for Jack Dibnah 

The engineers at the Bridport Foundry specialise in scale models of authentic traction engines and provides castings and parts as well as complete scale model kits designed by H R Plastow

The range of steam traction engines includes;

• The Fowler Showman’s Engine and Road Locomotive
• The Burrell Agricultural Engine
• Wallis and Steevens Road Roller

Bridport Traction Engines also stocks the famous ‘books of pictures’ for model engineers to build Burrell and Fowler traction engines by H R Plastow and stationary engines.  Everything a steam model engineer might want.

There is ample parking at the Bridport Foundry and a display of iron works and foundry products; fire backs and bespoke cast – iron products and examples of castings for all types of engineering – industrial commercial and modelling.
