I would recommend The Chestnut Horse at Kelk. The pies are fantastic with a massive choice of different flavours. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
What a pub! An authentic village boozer with an open fire, a friendly landlord and welcoming atmosphere. Add in cask beers and the best range of homemade pies that you will find anywhere and it's just about perfect ... which is why we keep coming back!
The Chestnut Horse was first recommended to me by friends for its amazing pies and quality beers. I am very pleased it was. The pies are legendary and this pub deserves national status.
