Welcome To The Home Of The 'Wold Famous' Pies ...
Jon the Landlord and Lucy the Chef are ready to give you a warm welcome at The Chestnut Horse
in Great Kelk, a small village situated half way between Bridlington and Driffield in the
picturesque Yorkshire Wolds
The Chestnut Horse is an idyllic 18th Century inn with a lovely log fire burning to warm you through
in the colder months, and a spacious beer garden for when the sun is shining
The pub is famous for its fantastic range of tasty pies and is locally known as 'The Pie Pub', and has
featured on local radio. The traditional inn offers some of the best pub food in the county, and local
sourcing of ingredients is made a priority
The pie menu is HUGE, depending on availability, the kitchen makes around 35 different pies! There's
also a bit of a twist to the menu ... being surrounded by beautiful countryside and being called The
Chestnut Horse, all the pie fillings are named after breeds of horses from all over the world
The menu boasts anything from the very British Shire pie (meat and potato) to the Lusitano (pork,
pancetta, and chorizo)
The Chestnut Horse serves real ales, including a selection produced from the nearby Wold Top Brewery;
