The Theatre on the Steps - Bridgnorth
Theatres / Tourist Attractions
The Theatre on the Steps started life in 1962, after a group of amateur actors bought the old Stoneway Chapel building. Volunteers worked extremely hard to make the theatre a great setting for all performing arts, even donating the old pews, organ and pulpit back to churches in Bridgnorth. After raising the capital needed to convert the building, the work was completed, making it the small but intimate venue it still is today.
