Four years ago, I retired to my native land after 50 years in California, and settled in Bridgnorth. On my very first day in town, I popped into Knickerbockers for a coffee, and was immediately drawn into the friendly banter of the regular patrons. The youthful owners, Paul and Kellie, took pity on this lonely octagenarian,taking me on their days off in their car to the Black Country Museum, Blackpool, Ironbridge Museum and similar places of interest. Through them, I quickly became abdorbed in Bridgnorth life.
But it was not just the ownders' kindness which earned my love and esteem: Knickerbockers coffees are excellent, their snacks - cooked or as-it-comes - are delicious (paul is quite the chef) - and their ice-creams are to die for!
I love Knickernockers!!!
