New virtual law practice to provide bespoke legal solutions for modern businesses
A Shropshire solicitor has launched an innovative, niche commercial law practice with the aim of providing specialised legal services.
Bridgnorth based Zoe Street, who holds a LLB (Hons) degree and qualified as a solicitor in 2002, is primarily a commercial property law specialist with extensive experience gained from working for private and public sector clients. Prior to establishing Street & Company Solicitors Zoe was a solicitor with international law firm Hammonds LLP and Bevan Brittan.
In her career to date, Zoe has acted for a number of pension funds in the management of their property portfolios and has been instructed to represent them on various ventures including the multi million pound sales of both retail and office developments as well as representing them in the negotiation of commercial leases. She has also acted for Boots and the NHS in the management of their property portfolios and was part of the legal team representing a consortium of three house builders involved in Telford’s Lawley Village regeneration project.
In addition, Street & Company Solicitors will advise on the acquisition and development of property, building agreements, website terms and conditions and software licensing.
Using internet based technology, Street & Company Solicitors’ “office” can be taken to clients’ premises thus saving on costs and commenting on this flexible approach to business, director Zoe Street said: “Law firms today need to maximise their hourly rates in order to cover the cost of overheads which are passed on to the client.
