Bridgnorth's Got Talent - 26th March, 2011
This is not to be missed!
Several local groups including Bridgnorth Camera Club, Bridgnorth Art Society, Wildlife Drawing Group, Bridgnorth Quilters, Bridgnorth Flower Club and a number of other local artists will be exhibiting their work, either in The Town Hall, St Leonard's Church or the Baptist Church.
A variety of musicians, dancers and dramatists will be performing in a number of venues around town throughout the day and refreshments including home-made cakes will be available. In addition to the above, students from the town's schools will also be taking part.
Entrance to the venues will be free, but there will be opportunity to make donations. All proceeds from the day, after expenses have been covered will go to the Mayor's Charities, Asthma UK (Cameron's Fund). British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK.
The climax of the day will be an extravaganza of entertainment in Castle Hall beginning at 7pm. A "Grand Concert" involving many singers, musicians and other performing artists should have something for everybody. A colourful, attractive programme of venues, times and events is being designed to help people to plan their day.
