Brentwood Karting has been acknowledged!
I paid Brentwood Karting a visit today and wondered why everyone was in such a great mood on such a miserable day. I found out it was because of a great thank you letter they received from Haven House Children's Hospice! Everyone including me is extremely please with the work they have done to achieve help for this great cause. I thought I would come back and share this letter with all of you so you can see just how grateful Haven House is!
"On behalf of Haven House Children's Hospice we would like to thank you for the generous donation of £560.00 raised at Scott Malvern's race night on September 1st.
At Haven House we care for children and young people between the ages of 0 to 19 who have life-limiting conditions and who are unlikely to reach adulthood. We help families by providing a range of services that include day, short break and end of life care, together with therapeutic play in the community. Families can find the support they need when they need it most at no cost to themselves. Your kind donation will go towards ensuring that we continue to be able to provide this important service.

It just goes to show how important it is for local businesses to embrace local causes and 9 times out of 10 it's these local businesses that make sure that places like Haven House Children's Hospice can continue their great work.
