We had a great time at the halfway house b&b and jannine and frank were very welcoming to us on our first visit to brentwood.The room we stayed in had lovely views and was very nicely decorated and the breakfast was the best.We will return next year,thankyou.

We arrived on a cold wet day with a very warm welcome from Janine and Frank to this lovely old farmhouse. Our room was warm and comfortable and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. We shall definitely stay there again.

Step back in time and stay at the Halfway House Farm. This old farm house has character unlike modern travel lodges and purpose built hotels. Admire the horses in the surrounding fields and stables. The owners will welcome you into their home and not treat you as an inconvience.

I had already booked my stay at Halfway House Farm, when i saw the review left by Carol B. i felt compelled to post my own! I think she must have the wrong place, My experience was of a welcoming farm house, that is a listed building. I felt charmed by the surroundings, the rooms were blissfully cool and though I was just minutes away the town and motorway, i felt i was in the midst of the country. i shall definetly return

I have spent all of my visits to Brentwood staying at this delightful Farmhouse and find the owners Janine & Frank great fun and always look forward to staying there ,so what if there is a hint of mothballs as I am sure Agatha Christieʼs Miss Marple had a hint of them too and this is what the House is all about past times and character and nice people

What an experience i wish i had slept in my car. The bedroom smells of moth balls to cover a damp stale smell.The bedroom door did not close never mind lock.Thebathroom door did not lock who would shower in a house like this. I wish someone had left a review and i would be £60 better off.Where ever you go whatever you do dont stay there.
