The Friendliest, Most Helpful Mechanic In Braintree...

I'd like to take this opportunity to pay special mention to a fantastic businessman in Braintree - Peter Watkinson of Peter R. Watkinson Motor Repairs & Servicing. The service that he provides to his customers is second to none - and speedy too! In the past, I have used various mechanics and garages for repairs and servicing on my car - mostly friends, and friends of friends.

However, since joining the Braintree Enterprise Exchange BNI Chapter last year I've been a happy customer of Peter's - everytime something has needed sorting with the car, I've been able to pop along and have it taken care of. From new light bulbs or tyres to a full service and MoT, Peter can take care of your every need when your car or light goods vehicle needs taking care of.

One specific example is that of a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't realised at all that the year's road tax on my car had expired and so, of course, had the MoT. Needing the car legal and safe to drive asap for work purposes, I dropped it at Peter's workshop on the Monday, and within 48 hours it was ready for collection and taxing with fresh MoT and all necessary repairs completed. And it was a big job, too! Welding, new tyres, new bushes and a couple of other bits later, the car felt as good as new to drive and is a huge credit to how Peter works.

I thank Peter for all his hard work - not only with looking after my motoring needs and ensuring that everytihing is ticketyboo, but also within our BNI chapter - he is always the first to arrive at 6am to setup the room and make sure that all is ready for the arrival of chapter members and visitors.
