The Mick Duffy School of Motoring specialises in helping new drivers to pass their driving test. Unlike some driving schools, its sole focus isn't on just passing your test first time (although most pupils do). It's to ensure that you'll pass your test as a confident and safe driver.
Mick quickly helps everyone to feel at ease behind the wheel. By gradually introducing new manoeuvres and situations, drivers become more able to anticipate and deal with the hazards of driving.
He also provides handouts to help people pass the theory test.

Mick also offers a choice of additional driving lessons for people who have already passed their test but want to become better drivers.
Pass Plus Courses for newly qualified driviers
Mick provides the Pass Plus training scheme for drivers who have passed their driving test in the last 12 months. It consists of 6 practical modules which involve driving in town, on rural roads, on dual carriageways and motorways and in all weathers.
Pass Plus helps drivers to:

- Reduce their road crash risk
- Save money on car insurance
- Become more confident
Discounts given for block bookings
Advanced driving instruction, refresher courses and motorway driving
Mick offers advanced driving lessons to drivers of any experience. He also offers refresher courses to those who haven't driven for some time and specific motorway driving experience for newly qualified drivers.
All lessons take place in a Toyota Yaris petrol car with dual control - a safe, comfortable and smoke free vehicle.

I passed my test first time with mike! Such a great instructor, he puts you completely at ease when driving, makes you feel in full control of the car especially if your not so confidence! And he's a good laugh too! Thank you!
I just passed my driving test with Mick, I couldn't have done it without him. You can't find a better instructor then him, he always makes you feel comfortable, safe and explains everything you need to know. I learnt so much in such a short amount of time i honestly didn't expect to pass this quick, I'm going to miss our lessons. I highly recommend him to everyone!!
All i can really say is... If Mick can get me to pass my test then he can get ANYONE to do it!! I had no confidence with driving when i first started my lessons with Mick, but Mick always put me at ease and made me feel comfortable when driving. Mick always has a laugh with you during lessons but doesnt let this get in the way of learning, honestly couldn't have asked for a better instructor. When i failed my first test Mick was eager to get me in for it again, even when i felt like giving up!! I have already recommened Mick to many friends and will carry on to do so! Thanks Mick!!
you could not ask for a better instructor than mick, he makes every lesson relaxed while teaching you everything you need to know about driving. By using easy to understand manover techniques i feel a lot more confident with my driving and have passed my test first time all thanks to mick! i would and will be recomending him to anyone for future driving tuition.
Back in January last year I set a goal for myself to pass my driving before the end of the year. It got to September and I had not even started lessons yet I thought I had failed my goal that was until I heard of Mick Duffy in late September. I had never driven a car before . on my first lesson with Mick straight away I felt at ease and confident I told Mick my goal and he said not a problem. I thought I had no chance . but buy my third lesson a was driving round Bradford confidently Mick told me to go for my theory Test 4 weeks later with some great help from Mick I passed it. I was amazed then after some more lessons Mick said lets book your test I was by this point confident with what I had learnt so the date was set 10th of December nerves were there but with some great advise and brilliant teaching I passed . Mick had taught me a complete novice to pass with in just 4 months i class this in a league of its own and would recommend him to any one .
Passed my driving test with Mick today and can honestly say he was a great instructor. Mick is always calm and patient with you as you learn new skills with driving. Always looked forward to my driving lessons with him, would highly recommend. Thanks again Mick!

I have recently passed my driving test first time thanks to Mick. He is fantastic at his job - very patient, helps you learn from your mistakes and puts you at ease when you're on your lessons. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Mick.
Mick duffy is an excellent driving instructor who i would recomend to anybody who is thinking about learning to drive. I have had three instructors and mick is by far the best. Not only is he an excellent mentor but he also a great person, he makes it a very easy process to learn how to drive with his very easy communications. He makes you feel very welcome whilst driving around and makes you feel really at ease whilst in the car. I wouldn't have passed my test if it wasn’t for him.
Ive just passed my driving test with mick duffy and i seriously cannot thank him enough.Not only did he teach me how to drive we had fun along the way.I actually looked forward to my lessons! Before i started i never in a million years thought i would pass but with the help and patience of mick ive done it! My 18 year old daughter decided to go with Mick after she failed twice with a previous instructor. After only a few lessons with Mick she passed with only 4 minor faults. She found that he was totally calm and gave her confidence which she was sadly lacking before especially on roundabouts! We cannot thank Mick enough for what he has achieved and would recommend him to anybody.
Mick is a quality instructor. Somehow manages to stay calm and patient with you no matter how much of a bad day you could be having! His teaching methods are top notch and and is always keen to keep moving you forward. He's also a genuine guy you can have a chat and a laugh with, never makes you feel uncomfortable. Mick is a great instructor, I've just passed first time. He's really easy to get on with and I've had a really good time learning to drive with him, I recommend anyone who's looking for an instructor and really can't go wrong with him.

I've just passed my driving test and I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without Mick!! He is a fantastic instructor with the patience of a saint! He came highly recommended by a couple of friends and I wasn't disappointed... When I struggled with a couple of manoeuvres Mick took the time with me so I could perfect them... I have had several driving lessons from a few different instructors and i have to say Mick was the best instructor i have come across in two hours he literally taught me what one of my instructors taught me in a year. Hassle free and wonderful experience he was brilliant and would defiantly recommend if you want to pass. 5 star experience and in general a wonderful man.
