Delighted with the wedding album Dave produced for my daughter and her husband, I asked Dave to do one for us, the same quality but smaller. The album is brilliant. I took it to work to show my colleagues and they were blown away with it, with comments of ‘I’ve never seen anything like it…’ ‘.the front cover is amazing…’ ‘wow…’. Dave did a great job on our wedding album. He and his assistant spent a lot of time with us before and during the wedding and right into the evening reception. They produced some very creative images and the modern albums are light years away from what is conceived as "conventional". They are more like a glossy magazine layout.

I first used Dave some time ago to take some family photographs for a Mothers Day present. I was so pleased with the result that I have used him again for various projects including stil life shots to use as pictures, family party shots that he then put to music on a CD (fabulous)and re prints from old original photographs. His advice and ideas are invaluable and I would recommend him to anybody for any occassion.

I required some profession photographs of a piece of land for a project that I was working on. Dave took various shots of the land and also put together a full panoramic view to capture the true look of the land. The results were great and he then had them enlarged for presentation. Highly recommended.

Being a keen photographer, but lacking in confidence in using photoshop, I contacted Dave, who very soon with his patience and knowledge put me in the right direction. Dave was able to tailor his tuition to solve my individual problems and fill the gaps in my knowledge to enable me to improve my images. Thanks Dave, money well spent.

I have taken several Photoshop lessons with Dave and recommend him highly as a tutor. He is extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic about Photoshop, in particular about how it can be used both to improve photographs and as a creative tool. He is excellent at tailoring the sessions to meet individual demands and existing computer skills and I like how he encourages working on your own photos throughout the sessions. He can see potential in photographs that may initially look very ordinary. He is very patient and makes the sessions both productive and fun. Dave has also used his more advanced Photoshop skills to improve some of my old family photographs and I was delighted with the results and how he brought some faded and damaged photos back to life. I plan to take more Photoshop sessions in the future with Dave and definitely recommend him if you are looking for either an introduction to Photoshop or some more advanced tutorials.

We asked if Dave would come along to our twin daughters first communion and take some photographs for us.Dave was very friendly,down to earth and proffesional in his work and made the children and guests very relaxed and at ease.We were absolutely delighted that he was able to capture the natural innocence of the girls and one picture in particular that hangs proudly in our hallway is often commented on by visiting friends and family.We would not hesitate to use Dave's services again.

We asked Dave if he would take some photographs of our horse Ally. He came up to the stables and right from the start he was very friendly and easy to get on with. He took some fantastic action shots of the horse, really capturing the action and movement of Ally. We had so many stunning photographs to choose from, and picked one which now takes pride of place above our fireplace which Dave had framed. From start to finish Dave was great to deal with, a real pleasure. Thanks once again Dave.

I asked Dave Cropper Photography to put together a DVD slideshow of my grandson who lives in Ireland. The end result was a fantastic dvd for ourselves and we ordered extras to use as Christmas presents for other members of the family. Will certainly do the same again for my next grandson or grandaughter.

I got Dave to take some pictures of my long time family pet Molly. He put together a fantastic book full of wonderful images that has since become a treasured memory as she died shortly afterwards. I now have a beautiful and everlasting keepsake that I will treasure always. Highly recomended.

Ii had a portrait of my daughter done and its on my chimney breast. When I have visitors everyone comments on how good the portrait is. I am due to have a new baby and will definately be asking Dave to do them again. I am very pleased with the pictures Dave has done so far and would recommend Dave to everyone.

I first contacted Dave Cropper a few years ago when I needed help with Photoshop. I take many images of birds and wildlife in general and sometimes I have been faced with problems that I have been unable to solve myself, with regard to manipulation etc.

I’m a photographer myself but it is only recently due to Dave’s help with Photoshop that I am getting the true rewards from modern digital photography.
His computer skills and patience have been invaluable to me in recent months.
He breaks the whole process down into simple easy to understand steps.

I took some photos on a point and shoot camera at my cousins wedding.
Knowing Dave from college days , I asked him if he could do anything with them.
He took them away and from my meagre efforts produced a beautiful modern day designer album, which is now a long and lasting memento of the day for both sets of the bride and grooms parents.

Dave has taken a number of family photographs over the last few years which we have been delighted with. We have received many complimentary comments from friends and family about pictures we have put up in the house. Dave has also restored a very old picture of my late Mother and Father which was excellent and is now a framed family treasure. My husband and I asked Dave to photograph a dinner dance which we had organised; he did a brilliant job on the night making friends and guests comfortable and was discreet in order to capture the atmosphere of the night. We enjoy looking back at the well designed and presented album of the evening. Thank you Dave. Highly recommended.
Dave has become our preferred wedding day photographer for our restaurant.We have had excellent feedback from our customers on the qulaity of the photo's as well as his very ameniable and almost invisible organisation.
He undertook a portrait session for our two teenage sons who were less than keen on the idea initially - he soon won them round and produced a great album.

Whilst attending a photography course at college I was falling behind the others because I had a lifelong passion for film and had never used a digital camera and Photoshop processing. I had a few training sessions with Dave who was very patient with an "old timer" converting from film to digital, and I eventually went on to be awarded a HND certificate. I would highly recommend Dave and his approach to training photographic/computor skills to help you produce better pictures.
Dave took some lovely photographs of my baby daughter when she was 3 months old. The shoot was relaxed and informal and despite having a very tired, grumpy child to photograph Dave did an excellent job. Everyone has commented on the beautiful pictures and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave Cropper Photography

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled beyond belief with our wedding photographs from Dave Cropper. Dave and Michael spent from 1.30pm till well after 11pm with us on the day itself. They were courteous, professional, helpful, genuine and completely there for James and I. The photographs are everything we wanted and more. The album tells the story of our love, our devotion to one another and the love and happiness of our friends and family who shared our special day. Dave and Michael have given James and I a priceless memory of our wedding day, both on the day itself and now with the love and devotion portrayed in each and every photograph. The only difficulty we had was in trying to choose 70 plus photographs from the amazing 1000 that were taken on the day.

I cannot recommend Dave highly enough. He took our wedding photographs for our ceremony at The Priest's House, Nr Skipton - his knowledge of the location made the experience that much better.
He sent us an abundance of photos from which to choose for our album and we wanted every single one. His artistic vision is simplistic yet stunning, and not at all pretentious. He wandered unobtrusively amongst the guests and took some fabulous candid shots; equally the formal shots were genuine and brought out the best in everybody. The album he produced was personalised, really well thought out, and nothing short of fantastic.
Dave is approachable, honest, very quick to communicate (a godsend when planning a wedding!) and excellent value for money. It felt like nothing was too much trouble on the day; he arrived before me and left only minutes before us! I would recommend Dave Cropper without hesitation. I was looking for some pictures for my newly decorated bedroom. I wanted something different but couldn’t find anything I liked. I spoke to Dave and he suggested taking pictures of some of my delicate ornaments that were already a fixture in the room. He produced some beautiful still life images and colour matched them to my decor. I got just what I wanted and they are totally unique.
When we asked Dave to be our wedding photographer we asked him to take a number of posed photographs with all the necessary family groups, and then gave him free reign to photograph anybody doing anything - with the brief to get some reportage style/informal shots of the group and of us (mainly because neither of us feel comfortable in front of the camera). This meant that we weren't worried about having to pose for many photographs and made us much more relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed our whole day, and when our album arrived we could see that Dave had produced a magical record that reflected the day from start to finish. The album contained some very discreet but beautiful editing which made our album completely bespoke. He used pictures of guests, invites and flower displays in the backgrounds and evey time we look at the album we notice something else! Fantastic - we would wholeheartedly recommend Dave for your wedding photographer.
Dave really managed to capture what we're all about as a family! He made us feel relaxed and had some great ideas about different styles of shots we could achieve. Plus it was a great afternoon of fun!
The photo shoot was made enjoyable and good fun for the girls (aged 9 and 4). Dave kept things easy and interesting for them with a selection of ideas and poses. We were really pleased with the final results, a selection of which now hang proudly in the dining room. The whole service including picture selection, editing, printing and framing was excellent.
Dave was recommended to us when we were looking for a wedding photographer. We found him to be friendly and approachable, and Dave showed us a large sample of his previous work. His selection showed a wide variety of shots and the aftercare work done to make the pictures unique and artistic. We were able to choose shots that we particularly liked, so that Dave could recreate them for us, and he also asked us what we had in mind. Although initially not intending to have photos taken during the evening reception so that guest could relax, we decided to go ahead, and Dave was very discreet and as a result captured some of the most memorable and natural shots of our wedding day. We would both recommend Dave for his friendly and professional service, with artistic shots taken to a high standard. His services are realistically priced and he creates a unique and beautiful album and dvd with such quality and attention to detail.
We asked Dave to come and take some family photographs as we didn't have a group photo and with it being my Dad's birthday all the family would be home. Dave came to our home which made everyone much more relaxed. We were all really pleased with the photographs - we have given some as presents to our extended family and three of the enlargements now hang proudly on my parents wall. I would highly recommend Dave for any photographic work - he is a great photographer
