Bonfire Night - Enjoy your fireworks safely

Make your bonfire night a safe one

 

1. Buy fireworks market BS7114

2. Keep fireworks in an inflamable tin - take out and use one at a time and always replace the lid.

3. Follow the instructions on each firework carefully - reading by torchlight.

4. Light the end of the firework at arms length and using a safety firework lighter or fuse wick.

5. Stand well back.

6. Never return to a firework once lit - it may go off in your face.

7. Never throw fireworks.

8. Never put fireworks in your pockets.

9. Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves.

10. Keep pets indoors.
