Event attendees will include individuals, corporate representatives, ambassadors and the local media. The morning will consist of arrival refreshments, a presentation about Gold Challenge, a chance to have a go at a few Olympic sports and an opportunity to network.
The Gold Challenge is a social enterprise which will harness the inspiration of the 2012 Olympics to motivate 100,000 people to become involved in personal sporting challenges and raise millions for charity. It involves participants completing a number of Olympic and Paralympic sports by 31 December 2012. Entry can be as part of a team or as an individual, with the aim of taking part in five, ten, 20 or 30 sports. For full details visit http://www.goldchallenge.org.
