The Edexcel BTEC Level 1 Certificate will help learners understand the skills and knowledge needed to work in the Health, Social Care and Childcare sectors and to develop practical skills in preparation for employment or progression in education.
You will need to attend lessons at Alliance Learning in Horwich 2 days per week for 12 weeks.
Topics include:
- Communication skills
- Health and Safety
- Safeguarding
- Principles and values
Tutors will also be on hand to provide practical help with CV writing and interview techniques.
The course is free to anyone aged 19 and above who is truggling to gain employment. No qualifications are required.
