TL Safety Successfully Renews CHAS Accreditation

TL Safety are pleased to advise that today we received notification of our successful renewal of our application as CHAS accredited CDMc.

You can therefore rest assured that you will continue to obtain quality construction advice and CDM advice. No doubt you will be aware that the CDM Regulations will change in 2015 although there is doubt that the HSE will meet timescales to implement from the 1st April 2015. The changes to the CDM Regulations will have an impact on Contractors who may under the proposed changes see themselves acting as Principal Contractor.

The changes will also affect Designers who may be required to take up the new designation of Principal Designer as well as the need for construction phase plans and more detailed application of the CDM Regulations on Domestic properties.

The renewal of our CHAS accreditation for our CDMc services falls hot on the heels of last weeks successful renewal of our SMAS (Safe Consultant) accreditation for our general health and safety and training services. Both these accreditations are part of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) safety accreditations.

TL Safety are therefore well placed to support you in most areas of occupational health and safety as well as your training needs and preparation of your health and safety arrangements, safety documentation, site inspections, site audits and accident investigation.
