Do you feel like you spend too long at work? I know many people believe they do, and work long hours of overtime, often unpaid, with little or no thanks from their employers. That’s why Working Families launched National Work Life Week, to address the balance between working life and home life.

The week is now in its 5th year, having launched in 2010 and takes place between 22nd and 26th September. Lots of events planned during the week, including go home on time day on 25th September.

Many professions don’t allow it, but if you do work the standard 9-5, don’t stay any later then you have to, as scientists have discovered that it can increase the risk of heart disease and heart attacks.

It’s important to spend as much time as possible at home with the family in order to have a healthy society. Working Families help people to balance work and home responsibilities.

On your days offs or perhaps in the evening, get rid of all the stress of the work with a lovely massage from Kerala Ayurveda or Barbara Gregori. All your worries will melt away with a soothing head or back massage. Go on, treat yourself, you’ve earned it!
