The Christmas events are beginning to take shape and the programme is now out for the big Christmas lights switch on in Bolton 2010 taking place on November 25th 2010 with events starting from 5pm.
MIddlebrook Retail Park will be holding their Christmas lights switch on Thursday 18th November from 4pm. All of the opening times for Middlebrook can be found by visiting the Middlebrook website
There will be a fabulous Christmas Market in Victoria Square from Wednesday 15th to Sunday 19th December with both continental and local trading stalls entertainment and a beer keller.
No doubt at some point over the festive season you will need to use a taxi or private hire firm. Why not use the highly recommended Egerton Cars , they only take pre bookings and are fully CRB checked with lady driver, book in advance and make sure your transport is booked.
Bolton Hospice are looking for more people to join in their Santa Dash (or Santa Saunter if you want to take it easy lol) It is hoped that over 500 people will take part with a family friendly 3km walk which is eight times around the stadium to raise much needed funds, a great chance to get dressed up as Santa. To register for the event it costs£10 for adults and only £5 for children which includes festive costumes! Phone 01204 663055
There will be a FREE Santa's grotto every weekend from 20th November at Middlebrook Retail Park. Santa will be in his grotto in the mall next to Vue cinema and every child will receive a FREE gift. See our events section for more information on this.
