School Shuttle’s October half term holiday club is definitely the place to go to if you’re looking for somewhere to take care of the kids.

There is lots going on all 5 days of the holidays, with most of the activities included in the cost of £19 per day.

On Monday 27th October there is Halloween cupcake baking in the morning, where children can make a sweet, if nightmarish Halloween treat. Then in the afternoon the mixing bowls will be put away and the glue and scissors got out, as it’s spooky arts and crafts time. The young people will make spooky hats, masks, broomstick bags, lollipop ghost puppets, pumpkin seed necklaces, pomp om spiders, paper cup witches and much more!

Then on Tuesday 28th October the whole club will be going on a day trip to Spooky World at Apple Jacks Farm. Situated in Warington, it boasts a haunted barn, grave yard, witches house ideal for trick or treating, spiders lair for apple bobbing and spooky stocks. The cost for this is £11 but will keep the kids amused all day.

It’s back to the club on Wednesday 29th October for more free activities. The morning is taken over to pumpkin carving and there’ll be a competition and prizes for the best pumpkin carver. All kids need to do is bring their own pumpkin.  In the afternoon there is more spooky fun as kids can make their own fancy dress costume, watch a scary film or drink some creepy drinks.

On Thursday 30th October there will be fantastic Halloween challenges in the morning. Club members will participate in team quizzes, sports challenges, mummy wrapping, draw something and even crisp flavour challenges. Then they’ll be treated to a visit to the cinema in the afternoon. The cost of this is £7 and kids should bring their own refreshments.

Finally on the big day itself. Friday 31st October, there’s an extra special Halloween party. No ghoul or goblin will ever forget this party, as the lights are dimmed and the fancy dress competition takes place, with more prizes for the best Halloween outfit.

Children must bring their own packed lunch with them every day.
