You are invited to attend Bolton Lads and Girls Club Business Breakfast on Thursday 8th December from 7.30am, here at the Club. As always, the Business Breakfast will bring you up-to-date with the latest happenings at the Club as well as offering the opportunity to network or introduce potential new supporters to the Club.
At the last Business Breakfast in September, they were delighted to welcome over 90 members of the Bolton business community to the Club, a testament to the event going from strength to strength thanks to the support of local businesses. Last time we introduced an option to donate on entry and I would like to take the opportunity of thanking those who did donate as this raised £480. This has enabled a group of 8 senior club members, aged 14-16, to attend a week long residential experience this half term, in wales, to develop their social and communication skills through challenging outdoor activities.
Donations this time will go towards the Clubs special Christmas lunch for some of the children and families we work with throughout the year who do not have a Christmas meal at home, to come to the Club and enjoy a proper festive Christmas lunch prepared and cooked by staff giving up their own time.
