The Courtyard Wine Bar is one of Bolton's most popular wine bars, transforming the old Bay Horse pub on Lee Lane into a thriving, vibrant and stylish environment to enjoy a night out with friends or a relaxed drink with that special someone.
The new wine bar opened following a £45,000 refurbishment by owners Subhash and Geeta Kotecha, who have taken on the new venture in addition to running the hugely successful Spice Valley Restaurant.
The Courtyard Wine Bar boasts an open plan design and is a valuable addition to Horwich's growing eating and drinking scene.
Drinks
The Courtyard Wine Bar features a huge selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, specialising in serving wines from around the world by the bottle or the glass.
However, beer enthusiasts are by no means left out, as The Courtyard also serves a great range of beers, along with unusual lagers from as far as Switzerland, Holland and even Japan! Spitfire bitter is also a speciality at The Courtyard, which aims to cater for all tastes.
There is also a fantastic selection of soft drinks and spirits available to enjoy from the bar, so whether you're just visiting for a light bite with a friend or enjoying a night on the town, The Courtyard is the place to be.
Stylish Surroundings
Owners Geeta and Subhash wanted to create a warm, inviting and friendly environment for people to enjoy a drink, whilst still being modern and stylish.
Modern decor perfectly complements the charming stone building and a high finish interior featuring tiled floors, bespoke wooden ceilings, exposed stone walls and subtle lighting adds a touch of glamour to this local wine bar.
The stylish and relaxing atmosphere is continued outside, where guests can enjoy the beautiful garden area, which is complete with plants, trees, tables and an oven style fire to keep you warm in the winter months.
