Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to do something lovely for my 2 boy’s birthdays - cake, balloons, badges and card! It was very much appreciated and made us feel very welcome.
The hotel could do with a refurb of some areas but it is clean and comfortable. The family room we stayed in was a huge size with plenty of room for 4 of us. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options and the pool an ok size for a quick swim.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would return.

Bit of a late review but wanted time to write this. My husband and I got married here in December, we were booked to get married in April with the twilight package but due to a family illness we had to pull it forward and had a Christmas wedding instead. Rochelle our wedding co ordinator was nothing less than absolutly amaizing and pulled a miracle out the bag and we managed to redo our whole wedding in the matter of 4 weeks. Changed the room, theme, everything and nothing was to much for rochelle and her team. Not only was she our wedding co ordinator but she also supported us with our difficult news about our family member. On the day of our wedding everything was absolutly perfect and ran smoothly 👌 us and our guests were treated amazingly, the food and drinks were incredible and recieved alot of compliments about how beautiful everything was. Rochelle, Jimmy and all the team were taking care of us all on the day and I thank god that we booked here because there's no way anyone else could have made our day so perfect given the circumstances. We took some beautiful photos on the grounds of the hotel, there's alot of photo opportunities at the mercure and the rooms were impeccable. Everything was such high standard I couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. If your thinking of getting married here, I would absolutly recommend the mercure! The price was good, and the team are the best. Thank you rochelle, Jimmy and everyone who worked on our wedding! Your all worth your weight in gold. Special thanks to rochelle, we don't know what we would have done without her! One of the most kind, empathetic, and hard working people I have ever met. Thank you all! Mr and Mrs Edwards ❤️

Booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and dog friendly. Very clean and tidy presentation throughout. Staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable (many thanks to Irene serving at the bar, top quality service). Would definitely book again.

Excellent stay, the room was clean and very comfortable. The highlight though was Irene, who works behind the bar. She made us feel so welcome and she went above and beyond ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. Great hotel, we shall stay again for sure.

We come to the hotel every week for our daughter’s swimming lessons. We’ve also stayed over night at new year for the family party. The food and drinks are always fab and great value, and Irene behind the bar always looks after us and makes us feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is amazing.

Visited the hotel for a country/western event they were hosting. The facilities, music, bar, food and staff were phenomenal! Very friendly, outgoing service in an environment that is beautiful and well kept. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a member at the gym for quite a few years now , and I often pop in at the bar and have a beer or a brew there , you have some lovely staff here , theres one staff in particular IRENE HARPER is an absolute fantastic member of staff , she’s a real love , makes everyone feel at home, she’s a credit to the hotel

A fantastic hotel with a variety of different events on. We went to a murder mystery event, and it was amazing. The food was really good, the staff were fantastic and Jimmy and the team gave a top notch service
