The karts themselves can travel at pre-determined speeds of between 1 and 6 mph and are fully tested to British Safety Standards every 12 months. The battery-powered karts have very smooth controls which ensures that children find them easy to drive. Safety features include a cushioned seat, padded cockpit, bumpers on the front, side and rear of the karts, low centre of gravity, roll cage, harness and regenerative braking.
