Jackie and her team provide a great service which we value hugely; they are always friendly, helpful, well organized and professional. At Jackie’s request we meet annually to review the insurance needs of the business and this is a great help, meetings are always productive and Jackie will bring new ideas; details of insurance products and information about nursery business and practice in general. When she leaves I am always left feeling that our insurance needs are being well met - something less to worry about.

Perhaps the biggest test for an insurance service is how they respond when a serious claim situation arises. Stanmore and Dot to Dot stood by us and helped us through some particularly difficult times last year when we had to close for more than a week after ecoli had been brought into the nursery. This was extremely stressful but Stanmore and Dot to Dot’s help and support, led by Jackie, played a big part in helping through this difficult time. Payments were organized to keep us going, legal advice was arranged and ultimately Jackie came in with the Dot to Dot lost adjuster to tie up all the loose ends. It was all very smooth and professional.

Also worthy of mention are the excellent Dot to Dot backup services that Stanmore have encouraged us to use. In particular we use the Croner-i website which is a great resource for the nursery as well as the excellent legal helpline which we often use for employment law advice.

You don’t know how good your insurance is until you need it. dot2dot have always been fantastic queries or advise dealt with promptly throughout the years. Last year we had an Ecoli incident and unfortunately we had to close the nursery for a few days. I have worked with Jackie and the rest of the dot2dot team for several years. I work closely with Jackie providing legal advice and support to their nursery clients. Our role often occurs during what can be very stressful times for the nurseries involved.

The phone call at 5am from the cleaner telling me he had found the nursery flooded due to a faulty water heater sent me into a flat spin!
The electrics were fused, carpets ruined the kitchen units blown, all in all it was a real mess. I had no experiment of making an insurance claim and
I had visions of being closed, losing business and a having a long wait either to have remedial work carried out or out of pocket waiting to be reimbursed for items I had paid for myself.
How wrong I was. After a phone call to Dot 2 Dot I was advised of the correct way to proceed. I was advised what work I should carry out immediately in order to minimise a loss of business and what work would require quotations from trades people. The financial claim was settled in no time. The whole process was painless.

But that just makes Dot 2 Dot a good insurance company and they are a LOT more than that, they are truly exceptional.
The personal service Jackie and her team deliver is first class. They understand the market place in which I operate and as such repeated deliver additional services.
Croner i is a case in point. Only last week they were able to advise me on an employment issue around the use of social media. The advice was clear, concise and with an understanding of the issues involved. The Croner i website is a great first point of call, tailored individual advice available if required....and all free of charge. I have paid over £500/month for this from other providers!
