I found this shop on a website, it was a stockist for a product i was after.
When i was there they were very helpful but ultimately didn't have the size i needed,they then called another shop, not related to them and offered to reserve the size, so helping me but not benefitting themselves with a sale.
They also sold a range of clothing that i was having a problem with,and even though i hadn't bought the item there they called the manufacturer to get advice on what i should do in the interim but also if i wanted to return the product.
They did all this while they had other customers in the shop and i had offered to call around myself, nothing was too much trouble.
I will definitely return and recommend them. I did make a purchase myself and have been very happy with it.

This is a family owned shop and has been there for years, not sure how long. I've been buying from there for at least 30 years.....
Their service is always friendly, the staff are knowledgeable about their subject and they won't sell you equipment or clothing or boots which they don't think will be right for your needs.

I can call in for anything, be it a map, a gas cylinder, a toggle or a tent or a pair of boots. They are always ready to serve you with a smile and some conversation... unlike many other outdoor shops.
I recommend Campcraft to anyone - we need to support our independent family owned shops more than ever these days. lets keep jobs and profits local and avoid the very large corporately owned chains.

The shop is a family run business that's been providing excellent service to the people of Bolton, and surrounding area, for thirty years or more.
The staff are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable fell walkers and mountain climbers and they go to great lengths to ensure you get the equipment you need at very competitive prices. Over the years I have bought from them tents and camping equipment, climbing boots and walking boots and all my outdoor clothing. I am a big fan of Paramo clothing and I know I have no need to look elsewhere because Campcraft have never let me down on choice or price.
If you are looking for anything for the great outdoors take a look at Campcraft, you will be glad you did.
