The work done by this hospice is truly humbling. They look after not only those affected by illness but their families and carers also.

It is a great place to visit and has a surprisingly upbeat, positive atmosphere which is true testament to the dedication and commitment of the staff and volunteers alike.

The staff at the hospice helped my father and the family as he fought and ultimately lost his battle against prostrate cancer. The hospice at home service were a god send during his last few days and we forever be grateful to them. How they remain so cheerful when faced with the issues they deal with each day I will never know but they are all incredible people and deserve all the plaudits they receive.

The staff are amazing and do a job a lot of us would find hard to do, they support and empathise with people and bring a ray of sunshine into their days and help relatives to support their loved one and in turn support the relatives who are struggling with their emotions they do a wonderful job and Bolton would be a lot greyer without them keep up the good work

This is the best ever service ive ever know my brothers dad was recently in there and they are amazing at what they do excellent excellent excellent!! The staff are brilliant everything just great you cant fault it they deserve a reward over any service in Bolton without a doubt..Thanks for looking after paul while he was there he was in the best care we could of asked for thanks again

they look after very ill patients a ta time when care, love and support is essentail not only to the patients but for family and friends of the patients. my own experiance of the staff at the Bolton Hospice was to witness how the special staff love the job they do as i dont think they could do it otherwise. they did everything possible to make the last 3 weeks of life form my mum in law as comfortable and as peacefull as possible. from the staff who nursed her to the reception who greated us, to the volunters who offered us tea and tissues. i cant than them enough and feel they deserve everything our town can do to support them.

Bolton Hospice is a great charity and one that benefits the community as a whole. I have been a supporter of Bolton Hospice for over 12 years now. The fundraising events they organise are always innovative and fun to take part in. I have completed the Midnight Memories Walk every year since its birth! Not only does this raise much needed funds but allows you the time to reflect on loved ones, past and present, and know that there are hundreds of other people who understand what you are going through.I also participate in the lottery scheme. I joined primarily to support the Hospice, but is is always a lovely suprise to be told you are a winner!And that's exactly what Bolton Hospice is...a true Winner!

I joined the lottery approximately 2 years ago and as well as receiving prompt draw results every Friday morning, they provide excellent customer service.

I recently increased my lottery numbers and the man I spoke to was incredibly helpful and sent me updated documents and payment facility details immediately.

well what can i say apart from FANTASTIC each and every member of staff!! They treated all of my family so well and my mum with such dignity while she was ill. On the day she sadly died they allowed all of the family including the children to be there for as long as we needed bringing pots of tea and sandwiches all day. The aftercare they gave us to was also lovely they really helped my two boys deal with what had happened to there much loved nana. thankyou will just never be enough. xx

They provide a truly valuable service. They made my friends last few months comfortable. They looked after her and family and friends! I have been on numerous fundraising events for them and they are organised like a military procedure. Everyone is looked after and cared for. I hope if I have to suffer like my friend did then the Bolton hospice will be there for me!

I have used the Hospice shops to buy Christmas cards and also purchased lottery tickets for the hospice Lottery. When I went to buy my cards, the staff in the shop were welcoming and helpful and helped me to make my selection.
I have also used the lottery to support the hospice and bought xmas eve lottery tickets to go in each of my xmas cards. Steve who runs the lottery is very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. making sure I fully understood the procedures of the lottery draw. Will definitely use the lottery services again. Its a fantastic fund-raising idea
