Bolton Arena offer gym membership from as little as 65p per day, with packages to suit all ages and lifestyles. There are peak and off pack memberships available, with options for 12 or 36 months.

Equipment at the Bolton Arena gym includes fat burning bikes, treadmills, rowers, cross trainers, climbers, steppers, spinning cycles and Cardio Wave machines to help you improve fitness levels and shape your body. There is also a specialist strength training area with free weights.

Bolton Arena have now introduced Power Plates to their gym, which are used by A-list celebrities including Elle McPherson and Claudia Schiffer as a fast, effective way to shape up. Members of the fitness club can also wind down after a workout in the fantastic rainforest-style tepidarium, sauna and steam room.

If tennis is your game, Bolton Arena is an absolute must! Through the support of the Lawn Tennis Association, Bolton Arena offer world class tennis facilities and are the first purpose-built indoor tennis tournament venue in the UK.

Bolton Arena's outstanding tennis facilities include eight indoor acrylic courts and two outdoor floodlit clay courts, catering for complete beginners through to professional players.

Bolton Arena is the ideal setting for football and outdoor activities, with four five-a-side pitches, a seven-a-side pitch and a large multi-use games area. All of the pitches are floodlit and have a third generation synthetic surface which perfectly replicated the playing conditions of real grass.

In addition, there is a floodlit full size grass pitch, which hosts home matches for Horwich Victoria FC, Sweet Green Tavern and Red Lion, as well as a number of local area amateur cup finals.

Bolton Arena also features a 400 metre running track with 6/8 lane straights, along with facilities for field events and terraced seating for spectators. The track at Bolton Arena is home to Horwich & Chorley Athletics Club and is a great choice for school sports days, personal training and competition training.

Events and Conferencing

Whether you need a meeting for a conference or a hall for a large concert or sporting event, Bolton Arena is the perfect choice. Staff are friendly and highly experienced in organising successful events at the arena, ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible.

The spectacular main hall has standing capacity for up to 9000 people, with half and quarter hall options available for smaller events. A 450 seat Sports Education Theatre also provides an ideal setting for conferences and intimate gigs, whilst five other purpose-built meeting rooms can cater for events of all sizes.

Bolton Arena is also perfectly placed for transport links, just 500 metres from J6 of the M61 and near Horwich Parkway railway station. Visitors will be amazed by the fantastic facilities that Bolton Arena has to offer, which include a state of the art gym, spa, bar and cafe.
