Anne Peat is one of our thebestof bolton members and is hugely active in her business role as owner of a local Utility Warehouse franchise. Anne is soon to be embarking on an amazing fundraising effort but needs your help and support.
Anne has shared what she is proposing below.
"I am raising £3,600 for Children Today, a local charity that supplies equipment for disabled children.
Each piece of equipment is specially made for each child and whatever specific needs they have.
This equipment means that a child's life becomes less of a challenge; giving them the opportunity to do more fun things than they would otherwise be able to do. Sometimes the equipment is there just to enable them to ordinary everyday things that we take for granted, like travelling in a car.
In order to raise this money I am challenging myself. I'm going to travel to the Andes Mountain range and then walk 26 miles over mountainous terrain at altitudes of over 2 and a half miles above sea level. Altitude sickness and perilous falls are just two of the challenges that i will be looking to avoid as I trek the Inca Trail in Peru.
I want to raise £1,000 by the end of November and £3,000 by the middle of January. I will be trekking in April 2012.
Please sponsor me and help me raise my target for "Children Today".

www.Childrentoday.org.uk is the site that can give you more information about how the children are helped.
Many thanks for your help and support."
We would love you to be able to support Anne with your donation of as little as £1. Remember whatever you give goes towards a fantastic charitable cause.
