At Trains and Boats and Planes, established in Bognor Regis as a model shop for over 30 years, we understand your interests. Rupert Harper, our managing director since 2004, is a keen model engineer himself. Other members of the team include a G gauge garden railway enthusiast, and an avid war-gamer.

Please visit our traditional model shop in the High Street, Bognor Regis, where we have over 700 square feet devoted to model makers and hobbyists alike. 

You will find all the major brands at Trains and Boats and Planes - over 200 altogether, and we are continuously expanding and updating our ranges. Products include: -

• Model Railways - Primary speciality of the model shop is 00 scale model railways, but also stock equipment in other gauges. Most spectacular range is the 'G' scale garden model railway and in spite of their size these models are less expensive than might be expected! Also supply 'G' scale live steam locomotives.
• Model Railway Kits - Wide range of kits in plastic, whitemetal and brass, by a range of manufacturers.
• Live Steam - Live Steam models and trains, and spares. We also repair these models at Bognor Regis.
• Digital and DCC - Supply and fit DCC chips to customers locomotives, or to new locomotives supplied by ourselves.
• Model Boats - Large selection of model boat kits and all you need to build a complete radio controlled steam or electric powered model boat.
• Aeromodelling - Flying model aeroplane kits and components, and a small range of Estes Rockets.
• Ready to Fly - Ready to fly planes and helicopters.
• Radio Control - Radio control equipment, and nitro fuels from 5% to 30%.
• Die Cast - Modest selection of die cast cars especially 1:18th scale.
• Slot Car Racing - Wide selection of slot cars, track and accessories, and stock digital racing equipment.
• Plastic Kits - Huge range of plastic kits is held at our model shop in Bognor Regis. When you have made all the usual kits, try us for something different!
• Wargaming - Military modellers and wargamers will be interested in our range of military figures, armoured vehicle kits and accessories.
• Warhammer - All of the most popular items by Games Workshop such as Warhammer, Lord of the Rings and Warhammer 40,000.
• Modeller's Supplies - Large selection of model making materials and tools, and paints. We also sell Meccano.
• Collectors & Secondhand - Buy and sell secondhand model railways (0, 00, and N), both ancient and modern, old metal toys, and radio control equipment.
• Servicing - Official Hornby and Scalextric Service Agents, and we undertake repairs for a wide range of other models at our model shop in central Bognor Regis.
• Books and Magazines - Sell most of the popular Modelling magazines and specialist books.
